BAERING Give Back Day

Here at BAERING it is important to each of us that we serve the community in which we live and work. One way we do that is through our BAERING Give Back Days. On our most recent Give Back Day we spent our time at CORRAL Riding Academy. CORRAL is nonprofit that pairs rescued horses with girls in high-risk situations to provide healing and transformational life change. Their unique approach is done through horse therapy, tutoring and mentorship.

CORRAL is a working horse farm and there is no lack of projects that need to be completed for the farm to run. We knew that their mission is important for our community, so the BAERING team showed up ready to work. We spent our day helping CORRAL prepare a new pasture by repurposing the trees that were taken down into usable wood for future projects on the farm. While we were proud of the work we did, we truly enjoyed watching these beautiful animals aid in changing the future of these young women.

The impact of their hard work over the past 10 years in numbers breaks down to 267 girls, 66,864 hours invested in these young women and a remarkable 88 percent college matriculation. If you are interested in getting involved in this worthy cause, click here for more information.
